Day 5: 22/09/2011

As a group we decided to narrow down our song choices and decide which would be the best to use for our music video, to do this we decided to create a pros and cons list for each of the 4 contenders.
Ed Sheeran - Drunk
Pro's:
- Engaging story line.
- Looks creative with a variety of shots
- makes an impact.
- People will want to watch the whole thing.
Cons:
- the other group didn’t like the song.
- With a variety of different shots and locations it could be complicated to shoot.
- We want the main shots to be shot in London, could be difficult to repeat shots.

Pegasus Bridge - Skinny
Pro's:
- other group liked the song
- would be easy to shoot
Cons:
- limited, only certain locations could be used
- could become repetitive
- not as engaging
- if performance was included we would need to find a band that would be willing to do it.
- could look amateur

Lucy Rose - Bikes
Pro's:
- would look really fun and creative
- fun to shoot
Cons:
- hard to repeat shots/do a second take
- logistics of getting everyone to do what you want
- filming running shots and on bikes, fluidly, would be difficult because we don’t have the technology.
- very weather dependant, would only look good on a sunny day

Express yourself - S.O.U.L
Pro's:
- would look really effective and fits with the song perfectly
- fun to shoot
Cons:
- might need extras to pose as strangers
- very dependent on the public
- the logistics of getting everyone in the right place and doing the right thing is virtually impossible.
- We would need stranger’s permission to film them.

In the end, weighing up all the possibilities, we have chosen ED SHEERAN - DRUNK
