Video presentation of music video | I felt I did ok on this piece of work however I felt I could have gone into more depth when analysing it. | How to briefly analyse a music video using the basic headings. |
Video analysis of 2 music videos | I felt I did well on this; there were a couple improvements I had to make but once identified I made them. | Viewing and identifying the differences between 2 different genres of music and their videos, and analysing them in depth. |
Star image/development | I believe I did well on this task; I contributed a lot of time to this piece of work and did a lot of research on the star. | I learnt how stars image and there videos change over a period of time. |
Institutions big budget/small budget | I think I did well on this task however I feel I could have possibly done a bit more research and more depth. | I learnt the difference between a small and big budget music video but also the differences and what can be achieved with only a small budget. |

What music means to me | I thought I did well but could have possibly written about some of the videos in more depth. | I learnt how the taste in music and the different types of music I like and how they have changed within time. |
The Britney experience | For the Britney experience I believe I did really well at this. I believe we need to concentrate on the time with have but I overall I felt I did well at this task. | I learnt a lot on this task including editing, camera shots/angles, time and how it is important to plan your time well. I also learnt how long it can take to film just part of a music video. |
Song Choice | I feel I did really well at this task; I managed to come up with several different songs ranging from a variety of different genres. | I learnt about what type of music was right for the type of music video we are going to create. |
Watching and analysing music videos | Again I felt I did well on this task, I analysed 3 videos in decent depth. However to improve I could have wrote down more of the videos we analysed | I learnt a lot on this task about what some of the previous students music videos were like and some ideas on what to and not to do for our music video. |
Storyboard- | Didn’t have much input on the drawing side of the storyboard but for the planning of shots etc I made a big contribution to it and also felt I did well on this task. | Planning, reality check, planning everything |

What are your strongest areas of skill and understanding?I feel one of my strongest skills is completing the set work and handing it in on time for the deadline. I also feel I have a good understanding of the given work and managed to do it at a decent standard. As well as this I believe I work very well in my group and put forward good ideas. I also felt I pick things up really well an example being the editing.
What are the areas that you need to improve most?Something I feel I need to improve is double checking my work, I have received pieces of work after it being checked with comments saying I need to double check spelling, and if it makes sense etc. To improve in the filming I feel I need to get more involved in front of the camera.
What are the areas you need most help?I don’t feel there is an area I need most help, the only thing I feel I need help on is getting more involved with the filming of the video rather than just sticking to editing.
